St. Paul Medical Device Firm Announces Expansion

Minnetronix to expand facility by 25 percent
Minnetronix,
a medical device design and manufacturing firm located in St. Paul,
Minn., is pleased to announce expansion plans for July 2010. The company
will add to its 45,500 sq. ft. facility located at 1635 Energy Park
Drive with the lease of 11,800 sq. ft. in an adjacent building. This
expansion will bring Minnetronix’ total administrative, design,
manufacturing, and lab space to 57,300 sq. ft.
Focusing 100
percent on the medical device industry, Minnetronix provides
award-winning design, engineering and manufacturing services to medical
device and life science companies, helping to reduce capital costs and
increase speed-to-market. Device companies partner with Minnetronix to
extend and strengthen their ability to develop and deliver medical
technology to the marketplace.

Moving
to its current facility in 2000, Minnetronix completed its first
expansion in 2006 with the addition of 24,500 sq. ft., creating a total
square footage of 45,500. Features of the new expansion, slated for
completion in August, will include additional administrative, product
design and lab space, as well as a dedicated training facility.
