Sun Diagnostics: Advancing Laboratory Medicine and Improving Healthcare

NEW GLOUCESTER, Maine--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Sun Diagnostics’ product offerings include ASSURANCE™ Interference Test Kit and Dextran Sulfate Sodium Salt. These products will be valued additions to the operations of clinical labs, instrument and reagent manufacturers, and researchers.

ASSURANCE™ Interference Test Kit will simplify the evaluation of assays for interference from five common interfering substances. ASSURANCE™ Interference Test Kit is made with human-sourced triglyceride-rich lipoproteins to evaluate lipemia interference; human hemolysate to evaluate hemolysis interference; human albumin and gamma-globulins to evaluate protein interference; as well as conjugated and unconjugated bilirubin to evaluate icterus interference. ASSURANCE™ is valuable to manufacturers and researchers during development and validation of new assays and for laboratories to verify the manufacturers’ interference claims in their own environment. Recommended testing protocols and data analysis tools are also provided.

Sun Diagnostics, LLC also offers Dextran Sulfate Sodium Salt, with a molecular weight of approximately 40,000, for laboratory use. Dextran Sulfate has a variety of laboratory applications, including use in preparing a precipitating reagent for the determination of HDL Cholesterol. Dextran Sulfate from Sun Diagnostics, LLC is available in 5 gram bottles and in bulk quantities.
