Friday, February 13, 2015

Crozer-Keystone Health System reached a three-year collective bargaining agreement with its 170 nurses at Taylor Hospital in Delaware County.

The nurses are represented by the United Nurses of Pennsylvania.

Specific terms of the new contract were not disclosed.

"Both the hospital and UNOP worked hard over the past several months — often bargaining late into the night — to achieve what we believe is a fair agreement that will benefit employees well into the future," said Joan Richards, Crozer-Keystone's president and CEO.

Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park, Pa., is one of five hospital operated by Crozer-Keystone, which is based in Springfield, Pa.

The health system continues to negotiate terms for a new contract with the nursing staff at Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pa., who have been working under the terms of a contract that expired last June.
