Physicians Endoscopy, LLC, along with the physicians of Dekalb Gastroenterology Associates, LLC, are pleased to announce on December 31, 2015, the two organizations finalized a joint venture relationship.
PE, leader in the development and management of GI single-specialty ambulatory surgery centers, acquired a minority interest in Dekalb Endoscopy Center (DEC), making this their 40th ASC. The physicians of DEC felt it was the right time to incorporate a strategic business partner who could provide professional management and expertise to enhance and help protect the ongoing success of their center.
Dekalb Endoscopy Center is a three-room ambulatory surgery center providing over 5,000 procedures annually. The center opened for operations in 1991, is Medicare certified, State licensed, and AAAHC accredited.
"Physicians Endoscopy deals only with ambulatory endoscopy centers. We welcome their experience and expertise in addressing management and regulatory challenges in a changing practice environment. Their presence should help us to focus on our primary mission, which is to delivery high quality and compassionate care," Mark Stern, MD.
