Wednesday, January 25, 2017

Keneric Healthcare, a medical device company that offers innovative and cost effective patient care products, today announced their partnership with Angelini Pharma Inc. This partnership will expand the reach of both companies by leveraging their clinical advocates, market share and areas of expertise.

Angelini Pharma Inc. is expanding their existing product portfolio to now include Keneric Healthcare's RTD™ Wound Dressing (antibacterial/antifungal).  RTD™ wound dressing is a proprietary highly absorbent antimicrobial foam with the only successful combination of Methylene Blue (0.25 mg/g), Gentian Violet (0.25 mg/g) and Silver Ion (7 mg/g) integrated into the polymer matrix available in the market. Healthcare providers continue to share their clinical appreciation for RTD™s ability to actively degrade and remove biofilm, to include preventing the ability of bacteria to become resistant. The successful removal of biofilm and exudate, ensures the body can resume its natural healing process leading to wound closure.

Al Henry, CEO, Keneric Healthcare stated, "Our decision to combine efforts with Angelini to further promote our RTD™ antimicrobial dressing will further increase the number of patients and practitioners that can experience RTD™s proven efficacy."

Todd Maddock, the CEO of Angelini U.S. stated, "We are excited to add Keneric's RTD Dressing to our product portfolio. We look to provide healthcare professionals and patients with a range of wound treatment options based on innovative technologies like Keneric's RTD™ Wound Dressing."
