Sysmex America, Inc., a leading provider of automated diagnostic testing equipment and information systems technology, today announced that it has signed a non-exclusive distributor agreement with Medline Industries, Inc. in Mundelein, Ill., the largest privately held manufacturer and distributor of healthcare supplies in the United States.
Under the terms of the agreement, Medline will market, distribute and sell Sysmex America hematology analyzers to office-based healthcare practitioners in the 48 contiguous United States.
“Many physician offices lack basic, affordable laboratory analyzers that can help them evaluate patient blood test results on-site and in real-time. This agreement expands Sysmex’s existing reach into the physician office-based laboratory (POL) market, and we’re very much looking forward to working with Medline,” said Andy Hay, vice president, sales and special projects, Sysmex America, Inc.
