Monday, October 31, 2016

Teleflex Incorporated, a leading global provider of medical technologies for critical care and surgery, has announced a new group purchasing agreement with Premier Inc. – a leading healthcare improvement company, uniting an alliance of approximately 3,750 US hospitals and 130,000 other providers to transform healthcare. The new agreement covers the Polysite® Low Profile Hybrid Ports. The agreement begins November 1, 2016, and extends through October 31, 2019.

The Polysite® Low Profile Hybrid Ports are designed to enhance patient comfort while simultaneously providing clinicians with unique product enhancements. The low-profile design incorporates hybrid technology with a durable titanium reservoir and a lightweight atraumatic-angled shell. The ports have a large septum for easy access and include a radiopaque locking collar for safe attachment to catheters. They are available in both pressure-injectable and non-pressure-injectable options in 6Fr, 7Fr and 8Fr sizes.

“Arrow® Interventional Access products from Teleflex provide economical solutions and help clinicians to reduce complications,” said Jay White, President and General Manager, Vascular Division of Teleflex. “We’re pleased to offer Premier members the clinical and financial benefits of the Polysite Ports under this new agreement.”
