Vibra Healthcare and Methodist Richardson Medical Center Announce Opening of Richardson's First Long Term Acute Care Hospital

Vibra Healthcare, LLC and Methodist Richardson Medical Center announced today the opening of a new Vibra long term acute care hospital (LTACH) that will occupy 29,481 square feet on the third floor of Methodist Richardson Campus for Continuing Care, located at 401 W Campbell Road, Richardson, Texas. Vibra Hospital of Richardson will be the first LTACH in the Richardson community. The new location will host an open house on June 1st and plans to begin admitting patients on June 6th.

Vibra Hospital of Richardson will share clinical programs, services, and administration with Vibra's LTACH located at 2700 Walker Way, DeSoto, Texas. When fully occupied, the new Vibra Hospital will employ approximately 65 medical professionals and staff. Hospital features will include: 14 private patient rooms, 6 intensive care rooms, rehabilitation therapy gym area, pharmacy, three bay dialysis suite, specialized procedure rooms, and easy access to visitor parking.

The new Vibra Hospital of Richardson will specialize in the treatment of patients with a variety of complex medical needs, including those who are recovering from illnesses such as strokes, cardiac and respiratory diseases, neurological and spinal cord injuries, multiple traumas, and wounds. Thomas Alexander will serve as the Market Chief Executive Officer and Cynthia Rodgers as the Chief Operating Officer.
