WellNow Urgent CareSM – one of New York State’s fastest-growing urgent care providers – opened its first facility in the state of Illinois. Located in Crestwood at 13448 S. Cicero Avenue, Crestwood, IL 60445, it is WellNow’s first location outside of New York State. The walk-in facility offers patients – both insured and uninsured – across Cook County treatment for non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. New patients can begin receiving treatments and services April 18, 2018.

“We are thrilled to open our first location in Crestwood, Illinois and extend our WellNow mission of high quality, convenient urgent medical care with exceptional service to the communities within,” said WellNow Urgent Care President John Radford, MD. “We want our new patients in Crestwood to have options for receiving healthcare, empowering them to receive care at a time that is most convenient to them.”

Joined by state and local elected officials, the WellNow team commemorated the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Guests also toured the new facility, met the WellNow team and learned more about services and treatments offered.

The new Crestwood facility is WellNow Urgent Care’s 32nd location in the country. Later this year, WellNow has plans to open another Illinois location. Additional locations can be found online.

“As WellNow Urgent Care continues to grow, we look to open facilities where there is a need for urgent medical care while offering our unique customer service approach to the urgent care industry,” continued Radford. “Beginning with our first location outside of New York State in Crestwood, we look forward to growing our practice in the Chicago area and becoming a reliable source for walk-in medical care.”

WellNow Urgent Care provides timely treatment for non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses, such as sprains, strains, colds and the flu, while also providing on-site X-rays, lab testing and physicals. Patients are treated on a walk-in basis but may also check in online or view up-to-date facility wait times on the company’s homepage to help reduce wait times. Employers can also visit WellNow for occupational medicine programs. A full list of services and hours can be found online.
