Varex presents advanced imaging components at Medica in Dusseldorf

Varex Imaging Corporation announced today that it will unveil its digital detectors, x-ray tubes, interconnect and control devices, and software solutions at the Medica 2019. Medica will bring together industry and research leaders as well as international medical experts and decision makers covering the full range of innovations for outpatient and clinical care.

Varex will also advertise its "Local for Local" campaign at Medica 2019. It introduces the company's Service Solutions Group, which is designed to provide our customers with a local service offering more local X-ray tube and digital detector manufacturing, with the goal of becoming a global partner to local businesses.

At Medica 2019, Varex emphasizes its service and support as well as the European customer experience through:

  • On-time delivery for common X-ray tube types in the radiological field of key brands
  • Providing technical support, evaluations and repairs of Varex flat panel displays / X-ray tubes at the company's service center in Willich, Germany
  • Access to expert on-site technical support for CT software, Nexus training, and X-ray detector and tube inquiries

At Medica 2019, Varex will show a selection of its extensive portfolio of digital real-time flat panel detectors (FPDs). Varex FPDs are being developed with a variety of imaging technologies - amorphous silicon, CMOS and IGZO, which offer several advantages that are ideal for certain medical applications. For surgery Varex presents 2020DXV / 2121DXV and 3030DXV,cost-effective high-performance panels for the exchange of image intensifiers. The company also introduces the Varex Z platform, which offers a new level of performance with higher resolution and improved low-dose performance over amorphous silicon, but without the CMOS cost burden. The Varex Z platform is based on IGZO technology and, with its bright scintillators, new electronics and fast interfaces, is well suited for fluoroscopy applications. For radiography Varex shows its complete range of high quality ( 2530W, 4336Wv4, 4343W ) and high resolution ( XRpad2 3025, XRpad2 4336, XRpad2 4343) wireless screens. The Varex imaging team will be on hand at Medica 2019 to advise customers on the most appropriate technology and component solutions for their application. Be it radiography, mammography, fluoroscopy or computed tomography (CT). Varex Imaging will be present at Medica 2019 Solutions in Sight ™.
