IRVING, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Vizient, Inc. today announced the opening of supplier registration for its Innovative Technology Expo 2016, which will be held Thursday, September 29 at the Omni Downtown in Dallas. More than 2,000 clinicians are expected to attend the Expo for a hands-on experience of new technologies that deliver improvement to clinical outcomes, enhance safety or drive incremental improvements to the health care business model.
This year’s Vizient Innovative Technology Expo 2016 combines the highly successful annual technology events formerly hosted by Novation and MedAssets’ Spend and Clinical Resource Management business, which are now part of the Vizient brand identity.
“Our Innovative Technology Expo is the largest event of its type in the industry and it gives participants the experience they have said they find most valuable,” said Debbie Archer, director of procurement and leader of Vizient’s Innovative Technology program. “Clinicians value the direct interaction with a wide variety of new technology in one setting. Suppliers appreciate the interaction with clinicians and the consolidated feedback from those experts that we provide them after the event.”
The annual Expo is part of Vizient’s Innovative Technology program, which includes reviews by member-led councils and task forces of supplier-submitted technologies. Since 2003, more than 1,500 new and innovative technologies have been submitted through the Innovative Technology program.
Vizient invites suppliers of innovative solutions that deliver improvement to clinical outcomes, enhance safety or drive incremental improvements to the health care business model to apply to exhibit at this event.
