Monday, July 27, 2015

OMAHA, Neb., July 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Project Pinball Charity will be dedicating a pinball machine at Omaha Children's Hospital, Monday, July 27, 2015. John Williams, VP of Strategic Planning and Business Development reached out to Project Pinball Charity for this local hospital.

"Learning about Project Pinball and the positive impacts it has on patients and families was appealing.  As we provide extraordinary care to our patients and families, we strive to offer additional ways to make their stay more pleasant and comforting.  Project Pinball's mission is very much aligned with our patient-centered culture.  Children's Hospital & Medical Center is looking forward to the arrival of the Shrek pinball machine and the smiles and fun it will bring to our patients and families," says John Williams.

Project Pinball Charity currently has 15 machines placed across the United States and are scheduled to dedicate this machine and possibly one more this month while completing a 9,000 mile trek across the nation in July.  Updates are scheduled on their Facebook Page, "Project Pinball Charity."

"We bring joy to children's lives through active play," says Daniel Spolar, Project Pinball Charity's founder and Senior Director, "allowing the smallest patients the opportunity to focus on something other than hospital life."

Project Pinball is thankful for their many supporters in the Colorado area, Stern Pinball, Inc. and Marco Specialties who have supported the charities efforts since the very beginning.

"We're thankful to be teaming up with Project Pinball Charity to share our love for pinball with patients who have faced medical challenges," said Gary Stern, Chairman and CEO of Stern Pinball. "Our goal is to provide patients with a fun, entertaining distraction and put a smile on their faces."
