Patrick Fisher
Orthofix Medical Inc., a global leader in spine and orthopedic care, has announced the appointment of Patrick Fisher as the new President of its Global Orthopedics business. Fisher will be a member of the Executive Leadership team and report to Orthofix President and CEO, Massimo Calafiore.
Fisher brings extensive experience from his time at Stryker Corporation, where he was Vice President and General Manager of the Foot and Ankle business unit. Before that, he served as President of Lower Extremity and Biologics at Wright Medical, which was later acquired by Stryker. His leadership at Wright Medical, where he began in 2002, included overseeing U.S. sales and driving key business strategies.
Massimo Calafiore expressed confidence in Fisher’s ability to grow Orthofix's orthopedics franchise, stating, “Patrick has led global teams in the successful development and execution of innovative strategies focused on driving commercial optimization across sales, marketing, R&D, clinical research, and medical education.”
Fisher is excited about the opportunity, commenting, “Orthofix has a uniquely differentiated orthopedics portfolio with a history of clinical innovation. I am honored to lead this area and look forward to driving growth and accelerating this important business.”
Fisher holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Rhodes College and an MBA in International Business from the University of Memphis. He also serves on the boards of the Greater Memphis Medical Device Council, Memphis Chairman’s Circle, and the University of Tennessee Research Advisory Board.
