Since May, the public health emergency response level in most areas of China has been lowered to Level 3. According to the latest guidelines for regular epidemic prevention and control released by the State Council and local governments, indoor venues like museums and libraries will be reopened, and likewise, the “restart button” for conferences and exhibitions is officially pressed. The 16th Medical China will also take place from September 14 to 16, 2020 at SWEECC.

Visitor pre-registration on-going; well-known Chinese manufacturers set to buy on site

Medtec China 2019 received a total of 28,057 professional visits, all from engineers involved with design and development, manufacturing, procurement, quality management and other aspects of medical device manufacturing enterprises. More than 96% of visitors came to look for new suppliers or to purchase, and they were from well-known Chinese and foreign medical device companies, including BD, Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, Abbott, B. Braun, Olympus, Roche, GE, MicroPort, and Mindray.
