DLF, Fortis JV to set up 31 hospitals in India
Introduction
India-based real estate developer DLF has entered into a Joint Venture (JV) agreement with Fortis Healthcare, the Ranbaxy group company to set up hospitals across India with an investment of US$ 1.5 Billion (Rs 6,200 crore). The JV plans to set up a chain of 200-450 bed hospitals in 31 cities in India within three to five years. The JV plans to build hospitals in cities where DLF has a presence.
Budget
The project investment would be around US$ 1.5 Billion (Rs 6,200 crore). The planned investment would go toward meeting cost of land, construction and medical equipment.
