Acadia Healthcare Constructs New Behavioural Health Hospital in Arizona
Introduction:
Acadia Healthcare Company plans to construct a new hospital to serve residents of Mesa, Arizona, and surrounding communities.
Features:
The new hospital named Agave Ridge Behavioural Hospital will be located on 12-acre site consisting of 100-beds.
The hospital is designed to support the increasing need for more accessible and high-quality behavioural health services. In addition, it offers continuous inpatient mental health and substance use treatment for children, adults and older adult patients struggling with acute symptoms of behavioural disorders such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Curently the hospital bed capacity is 1,492, to meet the behavioural healthcare needs the hospital needs to increase it to 2,331 beds.
The construction of the hospital is underway and it offers hope and healing for the surronding communities who are dealing with complex behavioural health issues.
The new hospital is expected to begin its operations in early 2024.
