Aspirus Health Announces $31.1 Million Expansion at Keweenaw Hospital
Introduction:
Aspirus Health has launched a $31.1 million expansion project at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital to enhance access, modernise facilities, and improve the patient experience. The project addresses increasing healthcare demands in the Keweenaw region and surrounding areas.
Features:
The 28,000 square foot expansion will replace the hospital’s ageing 1920s-era building by relocating all services into a new, modern facility.
Upgrades include redesigned inpatient rooms, as well as centralised imaging, laboratory, and pharmacy services to improve efficiency and care delivery.
The project is being led by Miron Construction Co., Inc. and HGA Architecture, Inc. Once completed, the new facility will offer a streamlined, patient-centred environment better suited to the region’s current and future healthcare needs.
