Atrium Health Invests US$78 million to Open Outpatient Surgery Centre in USA

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist with an investment of US$78 million plans to construct a new Outpatient Surgery Centre in USA.

Features:
The outpatient surgery centre is designed to feature eight state-of-the-art operating rooms, two dedicated procedure rooms, a simulated operating room, and a specialised robotic surgery training facility. 

In addition to these facilities, there will be a total of 32 beds allocated for pre-operative preparation, post-operative recovery, and post- anaesthesia care, ensuring comprehensive support for patients throughout their surgical journey.

Its services will encompass a range of medical services such as general surgery, otolaryngology, orthopaedics, urology, and plastic surgery.

The outpatient surgery center will provide upgraded on-site amenities to cater to patients with complex requirements, who may benefit from extended recovery periods.

The anticipated opening of the new outpatient surgery centre is slated for mid-2025.
