Introduction:

Ballad Health plans to invest US$6.5 million in cancer care to expand cancer services in USA.

Features:

The expansion project will introduce new exam rooms, physician offices, and two chemotherapy wings, each featuring private rooms.

The first phase has been completed, adding 11 additional exam rooms, a dedicated workspace for clinicians, an expanded in-house pharmacy, three new physician offices, and a larger registration area.

These facility upgrades are a crucial investment, enabling the delivery of high-quality care to patients battling cancer.

The next phase will focus on expanding the existing infusion centre by adding two chemotherapy wings, which will feature 32 infusion chairs and six private rooms to better accommodate chemotherapy patients.

This expansion will also ensure a smoother continuum of care, connecting patients with a local team of surgeons and clinicians to support them in their fight against cancer.

Additionally, the facility will offer access to care navigators experienced professionals who serve as a liaison between patients and their medical teams.
