BayCare plans for the construction of US$548 million newest hospital, a comprehensive acute care facility, in Florida, USA. This facility is designed to address the healthcare needs of the rapidly growing community.

The hospital's construction plans encompass the creation of a 45,000 square foot medical arts facility aimed at catering to families within the local area. Its services will span from childbirth and neonatal care to emergency treatments and specialised surgical procedures.

The new hospital will provide a comprehensive range of services, covering general, orthopaedic, and specialised surgeries, as well as urology, gastroenterology, cardiology, diagnostic and interventional imaging, emergency care, obstetrics, and neonatology.

The hospital's design is flexible, with plans to expand to 207 beds as demand increases, and further scalability options to accommodate the evolving needs of the community.

Construction for the hospital is set to commence in October 2024, with an anticipated opening slated for 2027.
