Boone County Health Center Starts New Outpatient Clinic Expansion
Introduction:
Boone County Health Center plans for the construction of new clinic expansion for the treatment of outpatients located towards the south of the current clinic.
Features:
This construction will be a three-phase project for making innovation in delivery of medicines.
The new building will be an addition connecting to the existing building of the Boone County Medical Clinic, covering an area of 47,335 square feet and house the surgery, specialty clinic, cardiac rehab, and physical, occupational, and speech therapies. In addition, it would also include 24 patient exam rooms, an increase from just 14 currently, and extra procedure rooms as well.
With the new expansion of clinic each provider will now be able to own their own office and offer several nursing stations where as the current clinic would consists of 16 providers and 32 nurses sharing six cramped offices.
