Carson Valley Medical Center Expands Healthcare Facilities

Carson Valley Medical Center expands medical center with additional services.

The expansion adds nearly 44,ooo square feet additional services to be offered at the existing medical center.
The expansion project features surgery department, acute care & ICU and radiology services. Moreover, the capacity of the emergency room is increased from five beds to 12, operating room capacity from two limited rooms to three full-size operating rooms along with two procedure rooms, two private in-patient beds and ICU space for not to create any disturbance to operations during construction.
This expansion will provide enhanced patient care in a better way with improved efficiencies, safety and infection control measures, separate private rooms designed for patients, advanced air handling equipment and enhanced navigation for patients and visitors.
The project is expected to start its construction in early May and complete by the end of 2023. The medical center employs 460 employees and expects 20 per cent of increase in staffing.
