Introduction:
Carson Valley Medical Center plans for the construction and equip a hybrid cardiac catheterisation lab/interventional radiology lab. The center plans to invest US$.6 million in this project.
Features:
The cardiac cath labs will allow physicians to diagnose and various diseases related to cardiovascular including minimally invasive tests.
The lab also features advanced cardiac procedures including ablation, angiograms, angioplasty and the implantation of devices including pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators.
The cardiac cath lab aims to bring latest medical therapies to treat patients in remote areas and provide emergency medical care.
