With the addition of 140 universal and ICU-capable inpatient beds, the facility now accommodates a total of 212 beds.
The emergency room has nearly doubled in size, featuring 48 exam rooms and essential resources for establishing a Level II trauma centre. State-of-the-art imaging and radiology services now include advanced MRI, CT, PET, CT, and SPECT/CT scanners, alongside upgraded X-ray and ultrasound equipment.
This campus expansion enables substantial growth and improved access to paediatric speciality care programmes, such as:
- Cardiology, Oncology, Gastroenterology, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Pulmonology, and Surgical Services.
- Expanded and co-located inpatient and outpatient services at the Pauline Allen Gill Centre for Cancer and Blood Disorders.
- Enhanced Heart Centre outpatient services, including a Foetal Heart Programme and a newly introduced Sports Cardiology Programme.
- Comprehensive orthopaedic and sports medicine care through the Children's Health Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.
