Chili’s to Invest US$150 Million in St. Jude’s New Clinical Center

Introduction

Chili’s Grill & Bar is committing US$150 million over 15 years to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and its new Chili’s Clinical Center in Memphis, Tennessee. The commitment builds on more than 24 years of fundraising by Chili’s guests and Team Members, who have raised over US$130 million for St. Jude.

Features

The new Chili’s Clinical Center is will bring major outpatient services together under one roof.

The center is designed to support St. Jude as it cares for more than 600 new cancer patients annually, providing family-centered spaces intended to make treatment easier to navigate.

The new facility will support outpatient care and contribute to St. Jude’s broader research, treatment and patient-care activities.

Chili’s has supported St. Jude since 2002, when Team Members launched the first Create-A-Pepper fundraising campaign in Memphis.

Previous fundraising has supported facilities and programs including the Chili’s Care Center, which opened in 2007, and the St. Jude Imagine Academy by Chili’s, an on-campus preschool through grade 12 school program.

The US$150 million commitment will be distributed over 15 years and will help support the new Chili’s Clinical Center after its opening.

During September's Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Chili’s is continuing its annual Create-A-Pepper campaign, with guests able to make US$1, US$5, US$10 or US$25 donations.

According to St. Jude, 100% of the proceeds benefit the hospital.
