CHRISTUS Health Plans to Open New Tower in San Antonio, USA

Introduction:
CHRISTUS Health plans to construct new tower expanding paediatric and adult services. The tower will be located in San Antonio, USA.

Features:
The project consists of 16 new private treatment rooms designed to enhance patient comfort and privacy. Additionally, it includes the establishment of seven fast-track bays aimed at efficiently treating less emergent cases. 

Furthermore, the department will be equipped with comprehensive CT, X-ray, and lab services to facilitate prompt and comprehensive.

The tower's construction will encompass four floors and a basement, embodying the latest in hospital design aimed at fostering patient comfort and expedited healing. It includes spacious rooms adorned with floor-to-ceiling windows, integrating modern technology to ensure the highest standards of patient care and experience.

This 164,000 square-foot tower is designed to cater to various crucial healthcare needs. It will feature 30 private post-partum rooms and a specialised newborn nursery, emphasising personalised care for new mothers and infants. 

The addition of a new obstetrics emergency room unit with private rooms. Moreover, the expansion includes 44 new adult intensive care beds, addressing the demand for critical care services.

Construction is in progress for a new four-storey tower adjacent to CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – Westover Hills. 

The addition of this tower will notably enhance obstetric, neonatal, and adult intensive care services, resulting in the creation of over 100 new private patient beds.

The newly expanded emergency department will be instrumental in meeting the evolving needs of the burgeoning neighbouring communities.

The anticipated completion for the new tower is early 2025.
