Covenant HealthCare to Open $25 Million Orthopedic Center in Saginaw Township

Introduction:

Covenant HealthCare is set to launch a cutting-edge orthopedic facility on the west side of its Mackinaw Campus, with a total investment of $25 million. The new center will provide advanced musculoskeletal care to patients across the Great Lakes Bay Region.

Features:

Spanning 25,700 square feet, the facility will include 44 exam rooms, four x-ray suites, four procedure rooms, two casting rooms, and dedicated spaces for administrative and support functions.
 
The center will also feature Mary Free Bed at Covenant HealthCare Orthotics & Prosthetics, offering customized orthotic and prosthetic services.

A signature component of the new center will be OrthoExpress, a walk-in urgent care service specializing in bone, joint, and muscle injuries. 

This service is designed to help patients with non-emergency orthopedic issues avoid the emergency department, providing faster, focused care.

Construction is underway, with the facility expected to welcome patients in summer 2027.
