Introduction:
Encompass Health announced US$28 million investment to build a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The hospital is expected to be named Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sioux falls.
Patients can overcome debilitating illnesses and injuries including stroke and neurological disorders, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation and complex orthopedic conditions using comprehensive rehabilitative services.
The rehabilitation hospital will contain a large therapy gym, rehabilitation technologies, activities-of-daily-living suite, dining room, in-house pharmacy, and courtyard.
Nearly 83 full-time jobs will be added after the construction of the hospital.
The construction is expected to start in spring 2019 with patient care beginning in the summer of 2020.
Patients will receive a minimum of three hours per day of therapy for five days each week and access to advanced technologies.
