Encompass Health Corp plans to start the construction of new 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital on American Way in Libertyville, Illinois, named Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Libertyville.

The new hospital provides care for patients recovering from debilitating illnesses and injuries such as strokes and other neurological disorders, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations and complex orthopedic conditions. In addition, it also includes a spacious therapy gym with advanced rehabilitation technologies, activities of daily living suite, cafeteria and dining room, pharmacy and therapy courtyard.
The new hospital constructed with expanded services will benefit much needed intensive rehabilitation services to Lake County and the people of surrounding areas.
This new hospital enables to provide customized care for patients which helps them reach their highest levels of independence and built the confidence that they need to move forward in their lives. The hospital ensures 24-hour nursing care to restore functional ability and quality of life.
The hospital is expected to be fully operational in the spring of 2022.
