Excelis Medical Associates Invests $1 Million to Advance Pediatric Hospital Development
Introduction
St. Joseph's Children's Hospital Foundation has received a $1 million donation from Excelis Medical Associates (EMA) to support the construction of a new freestanding pediatric facility, to be named Pagidipati Children's Hospital at St. Joseph's.
Features
The new hospital will provide child-focused, family-centred care and advance specialty treatment and research for children.
The facility aims to meet growing patient needs and elevate the hospital’s national profile for paediatric care.
EMA, a physician-owned partnership with more than 50 years of collaboration with St. Joseph's Hospitals, contributes emergency care across multiple hospital sites and has a large team of fellowship-trained pediatric emergency physicians.
The donation highlights EMA’s long-standing commitment to paediatric care and support for critically ill children.
The gift is expected to encourage further community and philanthropic contributions to the Pagidipati Children's Hospital project, helping ensure the hospital continues to meet the evolving healthcare needs of children in the region.
Year of Completion
The Pagidipati Children's Hospital at St. Joseph's is scheduled to open by 2030.
