Hackensack Meridian Breaks Ground for US$714million New Healthcare Center
Introduction:
The Hackensack Meridian Health and RSC Architects of Hackensack, in partnership with EYP Architecture & Engineering officially broke ground on the massive US$714million healthcare expansion project at Hackensack University Medical Center, New Jersey.
Features:
The 530,000 square-foot patient pavilion will help transform the academic medical center.
The project is a nine-story pavilion that includes -
• 24 new operating rooms including an interoperative MRI
• A 50-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with a dedicated CT scanner
• 150 medical-surgical beds including a 50-bed Orthopedic Institute, and
• Support spaces including a new sterile processing department.
