HCA Florida Palms West Hospital Invests US$80 million to Build New Hospital in USA

Introduction:
HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is investing US$80 million to build a new patient tower on its Loxahatchee campus in USA.

Features:
The new tower at Palms West Hospital will house the Surgical Suites, a dedicated 36-bed post-surgical unit. This facility will offer personalised care to patients undergoing robotic surgery conducted by skilled surgeons affiliated with the hospital's Robotic Surgery Centre of Excellence.

Furthermore, the tower will feature a fresh grand entrance, updated registration and admitting facilities, a community education space for gifting, classrooms, an expanded food services area including a cafeteria, and improved materials management facilities. Additionally, the project will accommodate extra parking spaces on the hospital's premises.

Over the past year, the hospital has achieved significant milestones, including the unveiling of an expanded paediatric emergency room, the successful renovation of the adult emergency room, and the inauguration of an 18-bed Level-3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Additionally, the hospital has introduced robotic-assisted bronchoscopy and enhanced both the interventional radiology suite and the cardiac catheterisation lab. These strategic investments has not only expanded services but also upheld the highest standards of patient care.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the tower project is scheduled for the fall of 2024, with completion anticipated by 2027.
