HonorHealth Invests US$170 million for the Construction of New Medical Centre

Introduction:
HonorHealth plans for the expansion of new Deer Valley Medical Centre. The new medical centre will be located at Phoenix, USA.

Features:
The expansion of the medical centre will be completed in three phases over a two-year period. The project aims to add patient beds, operating rooms, and expand key support departments. Here is a breakdown of each phase:

Phase 1: The first phase involves the construction of a new support services building. This building will provide a larger loading dock and a dedicated entrance. Additionally, a tunnel will be built to connect the support services building to Pavilion 1, enabling more efficient service delivery.

Phase 2: The focus of the second phase is the expansion of the surgical area. Four new operating rooms will be added to accommodate the growing needs of the medical centre.

Phase 3: The third and final phase entails the construction of Pavilion 3, a four-storey building spanning 166,000 square feet. Pavilion 3 will house new patient beds and facilitate the expansion and renovation of important departments such as food services, laboratory, and pharmacy.

The completion of this expansion project aims to meet the healthcare needs of the growing community, providing them with convenient access to high-quality care close to their homes.

Construction is set to begin during the summer, and the entire project is expected to be completed  by 2025.
