Introduction:
Houston Methodist the Woodlands Hospital has unveiled its plans for a US$240 million campus expansion, which will include a new patient tower.
Features:
Currently, the hospital has 187 patient beds and 15 operating rooms as well as a variety of labs and offices in the main hospital and two medical office buildings.
The expansion will include an additional patient tower, featuring 100 beds focused on the medical, surgical, and women's areas, and 10 new operating rooms.
It will also expand the endoscopy center, heart center, diagnostic imaging department, and emergency center.
Houston Methodist expects the construction will last around 2 1/2 years with the project completion date set for the first quarter of 2022.
