Inspira Health Invests US$240 million to Open New Medical Centre in USA
Introduction:
Inspira Health invests US$240 million to open a new state-of-the-art Mullica Hill Medical Centre in the USA.
Features:
The expansion project will include the construction of a new 150,000-square-foot, five-storey wing extending toward Route 55, as well as an overbuild adjacent to the hospital’s main entrance. It will also include renovations to various clinical and non-clinical areas on the first floor and an increase in parking capacity.
This development at the Mullica Hill campus will enhance Inspira's ability to provide services and accommodate more patients at its Gloucester County hospital.
Key services that will be expanded and improved include the intensive care unit, medical/surgical departments, maternal child health, observation, imaging (MRI and CT), interventional radiology, and graduate medical education, which will feature a simulation lab for hospital residents.
Phase one of construction will focus on the new wing, the overbuild for expanded maternity services, and additional parking.
Renovations to existing areas will commence in fall 2026, while the new wing and overbuild are scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2027. Certain sections of the new construction will remain unfinished to allow for future expansions.
