Kettering Health has announced a $70 million expansion of its Wilmington facility. The project aims to enhance patient care by introducing new services and increasing the facility’s size to approximately 71,000 square feet, ensuring high-quality, accessible healthcare for the local community.

The project will introduce a dedicated breast centre for comprehensive screening, diagnostics, and treatment. Full-service imaging capabilities, including advanced radiology equipment, will support more precise and timely diagnoses. A pharmacy will be added on-site for patient convenience.
The facility will also include new operating rooms equipped with the latest surgical technologies, additional infusion bays for outpatient treatments, and specialty care exam rooms designed to improve patient flow and comfort.
The expansion is intended to enhance both routine and complex care services, providing a modern, patient-centred environment while maintaining safety, efficiency, and high-quality care standards.
The expansion is expected to be completed by late 2026.
