The construction of the new campus will be completed in several phases over the course of multiple years. The new campus will serve as a hub for top-notch medical care, benefiting both the residents and visitors of Fort Myers.
The new campus will comprise an acute care hospital equipped with approximately 120 beds, a skilled nursing facility, specialised medical services, a fully-equipped emergency department, and dedicated observation rooms.
Moreover, the campus will have 18 operating rooms, with eight of these rooms located within an ambulatory care services building. This state-of-the-art healthcare campus will also include ancillary and social services, as well as a medical office building.
