Maury Regional Health Unveils US$115 million Facility Enhancement Plan

Introduction:

Maury Regional Health plans to invest US$115 miilion for the new facility improvement to enhance patient care and experience. The facility will be located at Tennessee, USA.

Features:

The facility improvement plan involves expanding the patient tower by adding two new floors. The seventh floor will be completed to accommodate high acuity patient care, while the eighth floor will be left as a shell for future expansion.

This expansion will enhance the capacity and capabilities of the facility, allowing for better care and accommodation of patients with complex medical needs.

As part of the facility improvement plan, the Emergency Department will undergo a complete renovation and expansion. The expansion will include the addition of 10 new treatment areas, bringing the total number of treatment areas to 48.

In addition to the Emergency Department, the main inpatient surgical unit within the medical centre will also undergo renovations. These renovations aim to enhance the surgical unit's functionality, efficiency, and overall patient experience.

Furthermore, the facility will add at least four new outpatient surgical suites in the Pavilion. These suites will serve as dedicated spaces for performing outpatient surgeries, which are procedures that do not require patients to stay overnight in the hospital.

With the growing number of births, the childbirth floor will undergo expansion. This expansion will involve the addition of three post-delivery patient rooms and one delivery room.
