Introduction:
Mercy Health announces plans to construct a new hospital to serve the people in Mason and Warren County.

The new construction is designed with an investment of US$156 million. Some of the special features that the new project includes are the addition of an emergency department, four operating rooms, two procedure sites, one level II cath lab and with new 60 beds.
The new hospital is constructed with an area covering 156,900 square feet. In addition, the new hospital focuses on providing emergency care and general and orthopedic surgery and expands the campus further. Moreover, the facility acts as a home to medical office building situated nearby to the hospital and offers speciality care including pulmonology, general surgery, gynecology, cardiology, gastroenterology and vascular services.
The construction of the new hospital will begin in the third quarter of 2021 and expected to complete by 2024. The new construction is likely to bring 220 new jobs by 2023.
