Mission Hospital to Open a Cancer Center in 2019

Introduction:

Mission Hospital announced to build a new extensive cancer center. The center is scheduled to open in the summer of 2019.

Features:

The facility will cost US$40 million to construct, which will be raised in partnership with the local community to support critical technology, patient-centered programs and clinical service expansion.

A new four-story facility will include extensive medical office space for physicians dedicated to the care for patients with cancer and other special needs, and it will also have its own parking structure.

It will be built in a dedicated 104,000-square-foot facility located directly across the street from Mission Hospital on Medical Center Road and will be adjacent to the Shops at Mission Viejo.

The Mission Hospital cancer center will complement and expand Mission’s excellent oncology nursing and inpatient clinical services with a collaborative multi-disciplinary approach to treatment.
