The plan includes the construction of three new buildings on the Nemours Children’s Hospital campus in Florida:
A state-of-the-art care facility spanning 75,000 square feet is set to include an expanded surgery centre with six additional operating rooms and new patient exam rooms. This advanced medical center will provide enhanced care capabilities.
- House Nemours' rapidly growing orthopaedics division, which will include a new International Centre for Limb Lengthening and the first and only accredited Gait and Motion Analysis Lab in Florida.
- Expand the Nemours Sports Medicine programme and enhance outpatient rehabilitation therapy services.
A 110,000-square-foot expansion of the paediatric hospital will increase the size of the emergency department, enhance the imaging department, and introduce additional inpatient beds and observation rooms, effectively doubling its capacity.
A 75,000-square-foot administrative building, which will include a new 800-space parking garage, is scheduled for completion in 2027.
This expansion is expected to open to patients in 2028.
