World's first fully digital Neuroscience center in Singapore
Introduction
BrainLAB has signed a contract with Singapore Health Services, in Singapore, for the establishment of the world's first fully digital neuroscience center at Singapore General Hospital (SGH).
The double-digit million-dollar project covers the installation of a five-suite operating facility to be set up in the next 12 months.
Features
Singapore General Hospital will be the reference center for the patented "Intelligent Treatment Framework(TM)," which will integrate individual BrainLAB technologies in a unique framework. The five-suite facility will set new standards for the comprehensive approach to cancer care as well as in neurosurgery, otolaryngology (ear, nose & throat) and orthopaedic surgery in terms of clinical results and overall cost effectiveness. In the fully integrated operating rooms with real-time high quality intra-operative Magnetic Resonance Imaging (iMRI), Computed Tomography (iCT) scanning, and advanced image-guidance navigation system capabilities, surgeons will be able to intra-operatively monitor progress and perform more complicated surgeries with less time required and improved patient outcomes.
Location
World's first fully digital neuroscience center will be located at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH), Singapore.
Benefits
The latest technologies in healthcare will be available, digitally integrated to provide clinicians with effective access to and intelligent management of digital medical information. From diagnostics through treatment, this new infrastructure will provide clinicians with timely information and more treatment options, resulting in better-informed medical decisions, and the ability to seamlessly combine multiple treatments.
