Introduction:
Ohio County Healthcare (OCH) univels plans for the contrsuction of new surgical wing. The new wing will be located adjacent to the hospital.
Features:
The project features construction of new emergency department, renovation of the vacated space inside the hospital and addition of new equipment and technologies.
The new surgical department will be laid with an area covering 27,000 square-foot.
It includes three operating rooms, three procedure rooms, a pre-and post-operative care unit and a walkway which connects it to the current hospital structure. In addition, it also incldes a vast waiting room for visitors and a direct access parking area.
The new surgical wing allows for the continued expansion of surgical services to include robotic procedures.
The surgical wing construction is expected to take 12 to 18 months for the completion and expected to be opened around spring of 2023.
