Orlando Health constructs new hospital located at south side of Lakeland.
Features:
The new hospital is constructed in a campus covering approximately 80 acres land.
The construction features 136 inpatient beds including 24 emergency department beds. The addition of these new features will increase the high quality of healthcare services for the people residing in neighborhoods and communities.
The multi-story hospital designed will increase the size by accommodating up to 360 hospital beds. Moreover, the hospital will have the ability to provide broad range of healthcare serives.
With the opening of Lakeland Hospital, the patients are expected to get exceptional emergency and inpatient care facilities from clinical experts in multiple specialties along with high quality diagnostic services.
The construction of the new hospital is expected to begin in the late spring of 2022 and expected to be fully operational by 2024.
