Introduction:
Post Acute Medical plans to build a new 60-bed behavioural health hospital located at 11931 Highway 6, Sugarland, Texas. The construction will begin in mid-July.
Features:
Expected to be completed next year, the new behavioural health facility will provide inpatient medical as well as psychiatric care. The Voyages division will include PAM Rehabilitation Hospitals and PAM Speciality Hospitals as part of PAM's Traverse Health System.
The new hospital will feature diagnostic behavioural health evaluation, solution-focused treatment, behavioural strategies that include inpatient and partial hospitalisation, medication evaluation and management, intensive outpatient programs, and aftercare planning.
The opening of the new hospital will serve many patients to achieve sustainable, long-term health and wellness, at the same time reducing the cost of health care.In the near future, new hospital’s 200 employees will be able to serve hundreds of patients, when completely operational.
The new hospital is expected to be completed in summer 2021.
