Redland plans for US$25 million 28-bed ward and the US$62m stage 1 expansion of the hospital. The expansion will be located in Australia.

The expansion of stage 1 is expected to begin in the first quarter of next year and to be completed in the first half of 2024. The construction of the ward will begin in 2023, and is expected to be completed in the second half of 2023.
Redlands Satellite Hospital includes a minor injuries and illnesses clinic, which takes away from Redlands Hospital's busy emergency room, and also offers a variety of other services tailored to the local community.
It provides health services closer to home, saving local residents the need to travel to Redland Hospital and other major hospitals through Metro South Hospital and Health Services.
