RWJ Barnabas Health and Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey Announces US$750 million Cancer Pavilion

Introduction:

RWJ Barnabas Health and Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, in partnership with New Brunswick Development Corporation, announced to build the new state-of-art cancer pavilion in New Brunswick, New Jersey, US.

Features:

The expansion includes the outpatient services for chemotherapy, radiation therapy and diagnostic modalities along with the inpatient cancer services.

The expansion also provides space for the research laboratories enabling physician-scientists to more rapidly translate scientific findings from laboratory bench to patient bedside.

The pavilion will be located adjacent to the existing Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Rutgers cancer institute of New Jersey campus.

The expansion begins in the summer 2020 and expected to be operational by four years of its commencement.
