The new Morris Cancer Centre will be a state-of-the-art medical facilities with a compassionate, patient-centric approach. It includes a outpatient and inpatient capabilities alongside research laboratories, retail spaces, and additional services focused on patient well-being—a pioneering concept in New Jersey. 

The inpatient section boasts 96 beds across three floors, complemented by a dedicated floor housing surgical and procedure rooms, a centralised sterile processing area, and additional support spaces for inpatient care.

Meanwhile, the outpatient segment comprises 84 infusion bays, 74 exam rooms—including a creatively themed 'beach/boardwalk' space tailored for paediatric patients—advanced radiology featuring four linear accelerators, and a suite of diagnostic equipment like CT, MRI, mammography, among others. 

Additionally, the facility houses pharmacy services and outpatient urgent care, enriching the scope of services available on-site.

The research arm is equipped with cutting-edge wet lab facilities catering to the needs of ten research teams. Supporting infrastructure includes clinical trial offices and faculty spaces, fostering an environment conducive to pioneering research and breakthrough discoveries.

The centre includes an expansive array of advanced oncology care services from Rutgers Cancer Institute and RWJBarnabas Health, consolidating them under one roof. This integration significantly elevates the patient experience and makes accessing comprehensive care even more convenient.

The new facility is anticipated to be opened in early 2025.
