Shalby Hospitals Ltd. to set up ten OPDs across India
Introduction:
Shalby Hospitals Ltd., based in Ahmedabad, in the western state of Gujarat, has announced plans to set up ten Out Patient Departments (OPDs) in India over the next five years. It will also be setting up OPDs in eight cities around World. Shalby Hospitals specialises in Joint Replacement surgeries and it currently has seven OPDs in different cities of India.
Budget
Shalby Hospitals Ltd. will be making a total investment of US$ 113 million (Rs 450 Crores) in the domestic and overseas projects.
Location
Shalby will set up new ten OPDs in tier II and III towns of India. The overseas facilities will be located in Dubai, Nairobi, Durban, London, Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
Features
The new facilities will serve as centres for registration and post-operative care of the hospital’s patients. Outstation centres will be coordinating between foreign patients and the Ahmedabad-based hospital.
