Sioux Center Health Expands Living Campus with an Investment of US$ 36 mn

Introduction:

Sioux Center Health plans an investment of US$36 million to expand the senior living campus.

Features:

The project is designed to remodel the existing main entrance of the hospital and construction of a new medical clinic with an addition of 14,582 square feet.

This particular expansion doubles the size of the current medical clinic. The project designed with 74,675 square feet is divided into five portions.

The first portion of the project consists of 32 private, wheelchair handy rooms with showers, dining area, a family-style kitchen designed with satellite warmers, private outdoor patios, additional therapy services and 24/7 staffing.

As part of the second portion, the memory care facility will be constructed which is located at the northwest section of the Senior Living Campus. In addition, the facility includes a dining room, an enclosed private outdoor courtyard, activity and sensory stations and consists of specialty care for those with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.

In the third portion of construction, the active Crown Pointe entrance will be included in the main entrance of the campus.

The Main Street area developed between the current Crown Pointe and Royale Meadows includes a welcome center, community center, a cafe, salon and spa, social club, media center and newsstand, chapel, an ATM, post office, outdoor courtyard with gazebo and walking paths.

The construction is expected to be completed in 2022.
